Shirley Kluver Joins 24 Hours on a Bench
On October 9th thru 10th, Visalia Rescue Mission CEO Michael Simmons spent a full 24 hours (noon to noon) sitting on a simple bench in the heart of our community, inviting anyone to come talk openly about the realities of homelessness in the Central Valley.
Among the many heartfelt conversations was a moving sit down with our very own CEO, Shirley Kluver. Shirley and Michael spoke candidly about the challenges our neighbors face, the hope that recovery brings, and how a partnership between CVRS and the mission can make a real difference, one life at a time.
