JOB OPPORTUNITY: Full Time Residential Program

Recovery Specialist I (Registered- or Certified)
Reports to: Program Coordinator
Qualifications: One year SUD Program Experience
HS Diploma or Equivalent
SUD Counselor Certification/Registration (Through state approved certifying body)
Must be able to pass a background check
Possess Valid California Drivers' License and Current Vehicle Insurance

Job Duties: Assists clients, volunteers and Program Coordinator in program and programmatic duties and operations. Is responsible for health and safety of individuals and the environment when on duty. Is knowledgeable of alcoholism/addiction and the recovery process.
Provides direct client services to incarcerated youth, to include intake, evaluation, treatment planning, and individual and group services, discharge planning; completes documentation of all services according to DHCS Substance Use Disorder Services standards and regulations. Provides accurate reports to Probation, Courts, and other referring agents as needed.

Salary Range: Salaries are set by the Board of Directors and reviewed annually; salary ranges vary depending on requirements, qualifications, and experience.
